Femme Facial masks; The Kitchen Beautician

Have you been enjoying the Sissy Soft Skin Tips series? Make sure to catch up on Part 1 and Part 2 if you’re just now joining the fun! Today, I’m going to run you through some recipes to help you make your own facial masks for cleansing, toning, moisturizing, and skin softening. Best of all—these recipes can even be made by closeted sissy with no one the wiser (you simply need to make sure you have privacy for assembling the mask and letting it work). Regardless of the recipe you choose, you will need:

  • 1 blender/food processor
  • 1 clean, warm, damp washcloth
  • 1 clean, dry washcloth
  • Paper towels

Never forget to wash your face and hands thoroughly with a clean, warm, damp washcloth prior to applying a facial mask to prep the skin. All recipes can be modified to be vegetarian/vegan friendly by using aloe vera gel as a base (instead of yogurt), and leaving out egg whites—just keep in mind a gel mask is decidedly more goopy and potentially messier.

Cleansing Cutie Facial Mask (cleansing, pore refining, skin tightening)

  • One container (6-8oz) plain yogurt
  • 10 drops (or ½ teaspoon) witch hazel
  • ¼ cup chopped cucumber
  • ¼ cup chopped pineapple
  • ¼ cup aloe vera
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 egg white

Combine pineapple and cucumber in food processor or blender, pulse until paste. Add aloe vera, honey, egg white, yogurt, and witch hazel, blend until thoroughly combined.

Tropical Monsoon Facial Mask (moisturizing, skin softening, mild toner)

  • One container (6-8oz) plain yogurt
  • 4 drops witch hazel
  • ¼ cup (1 small, or ½ large) chopped Avocado
  • ¼ cup chopped Mango
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh pineapple
  • 2 Tablespoons aloe vera
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon coconut oil (optional—use with very dry skin)

Combine avocado, mango, and pineapple in food processor or blender, pulse until paste. Add aloe vera, yogurt, honey, witchhazel, and coconut oil; blend until thoroughly combined.

Once your face is prepped, apply generously, let sit for 10-20min, then rub mask off using paper towels, wash your face in cold water, and pat dry with clean dry washcloth. Unused mask can be stored in a fridge for up to 3 days—EXTERNAL use only; don’t eat it! Make sure to wash food processor/blender thoroughly after use.
