Let’s get you ready for your closeup, shall we?

Those who dread photo shoots can breathe easily–unlike the grim expression on your ID or rictus grins from yearbooks gone by, the Ladies at LDW are NOT interested in what you’ve got going on above your neck or how you’ve made up your face (sorry Sissies), we’re solely focused on the head BELOW your waist. Just like I mentioned in my previous blog that explained the official rules for LDW’s Stroke-a-thon:

Make sure your cock is ready for it’s closeup! Only heads BELOW the belt are needed for this competition, so please preserve your mystique & privacy through the use of creative camera angles, masks, or hoods to hide your face.

It’s your cock’s time to shine

Depending on how you choose to set up your Skype cam during the Stroke-a-thon, that might even be literal. I’m here to give you a few tips and tricks to make your dick’s debut the best it can possibly be. You’ll need to take a few things into account:

Today we’re going to focus on lighting

The default glow of your computer screen, laptop, or smart phone tends to be less than ideal. The blueish cast lends itself to making your equipment seem like it was fished out from 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea, & when mixed with dim ambient yellow tinged indoor lighting… it results in a surreal, greenish tinge that makes your dick look like it came out of Night of the Living Dead. If you’re going for a Deep Sea Dick or zombie cock vibe, by all means, rock on–but if you’re in the mood for something a bit more…lively? Try incorporating the following elements:

  • overhead lighting (could be a ceiling light or pedestal lamp)
  • diffused natural light (shaded window, or natural light bulb lamp set back a bit or in the hallway
  • spot light: this is going to be a desk lamp or some other highly mobile light source (some of my sissies are planning to bring colored ring lights to REALLY add some glam). Position it where you want light to be the strongest to add some dimension & shadows to your stroking session.
  • Ambience: LED flickering candle lights can be a nice touch if you want to go for a scene that’s deliberately darker, but can still be seen.

Remember: we HAVE to be able to see your cock for you to qualify for prizes–so no lights out please, cams MUST have at least enough lighting for us to enjoy the show.

For anyone who’s camera shy: You DON’T have to go on cam to participate. You can stroke right along with everyone else during the event in cam-less privacy, but it does mean you won’t be eligible to be a finalist or claim any prizes.

If you’re feeling a little self-conscious about cam because you’re afraid your… equipment doesn’t measure up, my next blog will help 🙂 I’ll be chatting all about angles to help your dick look fabulous & fit for fucking.

Stroke-a-thon spots are going fast, but there’s still room for more cocks in our virtual Henhouse!
