Personally, I adore any opportunity to accessorize. Even TREES get to be decked out to the nines this time of year, and boring neighborhood bylaws unwind to allow people to transform bland streets into themed suburban answers to the Las Vegas Strip. But for certain functions, hauling the old blue spruce or cypress off the tree lot and taking it home doesn’t pack quite the same punch as something a little more…daring. A little more avant-garde. Something that combines the glitz and glam of the holiday season with performance art, and a heaping helping of devious, daring, BDSM fun.

This year at a Holiday fetish party, I got to indulge in one of my favorite little fetishes: rope play. Whether you call it Shibari, Kinbaku, Bondage, this kink by any other name is just as sweet.
