I love travel – and cruising is one of my favorite ways to indulge.

Few methods of vacationing are as hassle free, luxurious, or lend themselves quite as well to me seeing various cities, ports of call, or being pampered by the staff, guests, and some rather sexy locals. Anytime I cruise I tend to run into some admirers before we even leave port.

By the time the sail away party begins, I’ve already acquired my own sailing subbie entourage to entertain me for the rest of the voyage. This time it was especially fun since I was cruising with a friend to help her celebrate her birthday in style—we REALLY had a blast toying with our darling little cruise crew.

A View From the Lobby

I travel light…in fact, you could say I go cruising in hardly anything at all.

After all—string bikinis, sparkly thong beach sandals, and itty bitty cocktail dresses really don’t take up much space—which leaves plenty of room for my camera, waterproof camcorder, mini-tripod, batteries, and various techno gear (Yes, I am a shutter bug, and damn proud of it ) In early November, I went on a Western Caribbean trip to a variety of exotic ports of call—but this time, it wasn’t just to enjoy the beaches or splash about in the ocean….this time, I did something completely different: I went exploring the subterranean rivers & cave systems of Belize & Cozumel; but yes–I was a beach bunny in Roatan 😉
