Your Femdom Princess is grateful for…
My loved ones, my subbies, my friends, the LDW Ladies, aaaaand: to be back in Texas. For a few hours, anyway.
Some of you might have noticed I haven’t been quite as available for calls recently–and that’s because this year, my hubby James and I went on a goodwill tour to spend time with his loved ones. The folks who felt previously miffed & dissed that we eloped instead of having a massive, marital monstrosity of a wedding with literally hundreds of guests (you can read more about our wedding hijinks here:

The problem?
His loved ones live up North.
Maine. Minnesota. Wyoming. Montana. Oregon. A black sheep in the mountains of Tennessee. Your Texan Temptress does NOT do cold. I’ve never lived North of the Mason Dixon line, and while I can bask & actually glow in the heat of a swampy Louisiana summer or a sweltering Texas heat wave…the thought of enduring temperatures below 40 degrees makes me want to wail & whine like the most mal-adjusted Brat you’ve ever heard of.
I would do anything for love.
Including voluntarily visiting folks who live in a climate that gives credence to the belief that at least one layer of Hell has to be a frozen wasteland. I don’t understand why ANYONE wants to live in a place that requires more layers of clothing than syllables in your name. Granted, snow and ice are pretty as long as you’re viewing it from climate controlled comfort– but as soon as you have to start shoveling or thawing or dealing with hypothermia/frostbite or ANY of the absolute havoc that they wreak, the magic of a winter wonderland blows away like a snow flurry.
The loved ones were lovely, and they are more than welcome to visit me anytime. The next time I visit them? I think Summer or early Autumn might be more my speed.
James is taking me to go Bask in the Caribbean
My hubby certainly knows how to spoil his princess, and being pampered in a tropical paradise is just what this Mistress wants after a whirlwind winter tour of some of the coldest climes the USA has to offer. On the plus side? His loved ones truly ARE lovely. They might live in the freezing cold, but they have warm hearts. My availability will be limited until I’m back on Dec 12th.
